Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using MyTubeSync (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

These Terms apply to all relationships related to the use of the App.

Article 2 (Service Description)

The App provides the following services:

• YouTube video search functionality
• Favorite video registration and management
• Watch history recording and management
• Channel subscription and management
• Video organization by categories
• Cross-device synchronization via iCloud

Article 3 (Prohibited Activities)

Users shall not engage in any of the following activities when using the App:

1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
2. Acts related to criminal activities
3. Acts that destroy or interfere with the functionality of the App's servers or networks
4. Acts that may interfere with the operation of the App
5. Acts of collecting or accumulating personal information about other users
6. Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
7. Impersonating other users
8. Acts that directly or indirectly provide benefits to anti-social forces in connection with the App
9. Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the operator

Article 4 (Suspension of Service)

The operator may suspend or interrupt all or part of the App without prior notice to users if any of the following circumstances apply:

1. When performing maintenance or updates to the computer systems for the App
2. When provision of the App becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
3. When computers or communication lines are stopped due to accidents
4. When the use of YouTube Data API is restricted or suspended
5. When the operator determines that provision of the App is difficult for any other reason

Article 5 (Copyright)

Copyright for YouTube videos displayed in the App belongs to the respective copyright holders. The App retrieves and displays video information through the YouTube Data API and does not claim copyright over video content.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

1. The operator does not expressly or implicitly warrant that the App is free from defects in fact or law (including defects related to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors or bugs, infringement of rights, etc.).
2. The operator shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users arising from the App.
3. The operator shall not be liable for damages resulting from limitations or suspension of App functionality due to changes in YouTube and Google services or API specification changes.

Article 7 (Changes to Service Content)

The operator may change the content of the App or discontinue providing the App without notifying users, and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users as a result.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

The operator may change these Terms at any time without notice to users if deemed necessary. The revised Terms shall become effective upon posting on this page.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over the operator's location.
